A lot of the repairs we do could have been avoided with the right accessories in the first place. A cracked screen, a damaged charging port, a scratched camera lens — these are exactly the kinds of everyday damage a case, screen protector, and decent charger are designed to prevent.
The best repair is the one you never need. A few dollars in accessories can save a much bigger repair bill later.
For cases, the trade-off is protection versus bulk: a slim case looks nicer but offers less cushioning in a drop, while a rugged case with raised edges around the screen and camera protects better at the cost of some pocket-friendliness. For most people, a case with reinforced corners and a slightly raised lip around the screen and camera is the sweet spot.
Screen protectors and chargers matter too
Tempered glass screen protectors are worth it — they take the scratches and impacts instead of your actual screen, and a cracked protector is a lot cheaper to replace than a cracked display. On the charging side, cheap or worn-out cables are one of the sneakier causes of charging port damage over time, since a loose-fitting connector wears down the port with every use. A well-fitting cable and a reliable wall adapter or wireless charger go a long way toward avoiding a future repair visit. We carry all of these in-store — see our full Accessories selection.
